Jasper Middle School is proud to be the home of the Jasper Middle School Dragons and Dragonettes.  Currently under the administration of Mr. Bruce Godfrey, principal, and Mr. Neil Howell, assistant principal, Jasper Middle School is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and offers a challenging curriculum for middle-school students.       Besides core offerings of English, literature, math, social studies, and science, students at JMS are afforded opportunities in art, band, general music, chorus, computer applications, physical education, foreign language, and agriculture.  Accompanying these course offerings, many extracurricular activities, including various clubs and sports, abound.       Located at 339 West Church Street, Jasper, Georgia, the school is housed primarily in the structure that served Pickens County as Pickens High School for over four decades, until a new high school was constructed in the late 1990’s.  The facility features administrative offices, a conference room, three wings of academic classrooms, a media center, three computer labs, a music keyboarding and chorus room, and an agriculture lab.  Other structures on campus include a fully refurbished gymnasium, a weight-training room, an agricultural barn and greenhouse, and a band room.       Rich in history and tradition, Jasper Middle School is an educational facility where faculty and staff rise to the ever-changing challenges of educating all students.  Achieving educational excellence is just one of the many goals of Jasper Middle School.  Welcome to our website, and welcome to our JMS family.
