The Jasper Middle School PTSO is a
nonprofit parent teacher organization whose membership includes all parents,
legal guardians and staff at Jasper Middle School.
The PTSO’s mission is to establish a
close relationship between home and school by advancing opportunity for all
parents to become involved in the Jasper Middle School community.
The PTSO sponsors assistance to teachers
in classroom setting, raises funds for supplemental educational materials and
experiences, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a
non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children.
It is our belief that the team effort of
a parent teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for
our children.

Purpose of PTSO
- Help and support for the teachers of our community.
- Enrichment and service for the students.
- Opportunity for parent involvement.
Research shows that children whose parents are
actively involved in their school are more likely to:
- Earn higher degrees
- Attend school regularly
- Have better behavior
- Adapt better to school
- Have better social skills
- Go on to college
- Attain higher grades
